Most Reverend John C. Wester, Archbishop of Santa Fe, will celebrate the Blue Mass, a blessing for all first responders in New Mexico: police officers, sheriff deputies, firefighters, military, emergency medical personnel, correction officers, probation officers, and search and rescue volunteers. It is also an opportunity to honor our fallen heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice. The Mass, hosted by the Archdiocese of Santa Fe, will begin at noon at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church and will also be live-streamed. All are welcome, and first responders are encouraged to wear their uniforms.
All priests are welcome to concelebrate. Deacons are also welcome to attend vested in their alb and ASF stole and arrive at 11:30 a.m.
